Vegas

our next plan on our vacation agenda was to go to Vegas for a few days. We went during the week, we assumed that it would be less crowded, but it wasn't. It was so packed. We spent it at the pool, Shark Reef Aquarium, Wax Museum and a lot of walking around and eating at the buffets.

we went to go walk, and i thought could drink a margarita,

i didnt even finish half, John finished it for me :(

megan and josh wanted to get their baby brother his first Build A Bear.

Jacob chose a black teddy bear, and calls it "Bear"

After he museum, we walked around the strip,

 and into the different hotels

jacob was pooped, we felt bad for him,

we had him strapped in his stroller most of the time.

Wild Rivers,Irvine CA

We took a day and spent it at Wild Rivers, I had never been there,
amd it was a nice warm day to be out at a waterpark.

DIY Birthday Decor "owl theme"

My next party I did was for Megans 14th Birthday. I wasnt sure what I wanted to do, but i
was inspired by DIY decorations. Went to Michaels and found a book of scrapbook paper and adored the patterns. I emailed a picture of it to get it approved by the Bday girl and she said yes.

finished product the BANNER, i should have covered the frame with white paper,
so the banner could stand out more. oh well....next time :)

i also attempted in making TISSUE POM POMS for the very first time.

i only did some to start, not too bad

with the scrapbook paper i also made cones, that i put
cotton candy and popcorn in for the candy table.
tip: cotton candy gets hard and shrivels after a little while,
didnt know that

                             

                           with all the excess pieces of paper, i put it through the shredder,
                           and made confetti for the tables.

                                

                        i purchased some printables from http://www.thecelebrationshoppe.com/
                and coordinated the owl pattern  for the cups and straws with the other decorations.
